Choose Your Side. Mirrodin Besieged prereleases begin at the stroke of midnight, January 29th, and stores around the Island will be holding events all weekend! This will be an interesting prerelease, because for the first time ever, you’ll get to choose a faction to represent at the event. There will be special Mirran and Phyrexian packs, and they’ll each only have cards with their faction’s watermarks in them (minus the foils, which don’t adhere to the faction pack they come from). You’ll get a prerelease foil of your chosen faction as well – Phyrexians get Glissa, the Traitor, and Mirrans get Hero of Bladehold.

Sealed Deck events are three packs of Scars of Mirrodin and three packs of either Mirran or Phyrexian Mirrodin Besieged packs.

Booster Drafts will be available at some venues. Players will choose a faction and get two of those faction boosters and one Scars of Mirrodin booster. Starting with Mirrodin Besieged, the newest set is the first pack opened in the draft, so Scars of Mirrodin should always be opened last.
